Will they ever have a new version? This one is so old!
It is not one of the respected ones either.Nobody ever has recommended it.Free malwarebytes and free Superantispyware both have got 5 stars from CNET.Instead of using this, much better to have nothing. It is not a malaware fighting company like above 2 who only make anti-malaware products. It makes all types of soft to attract.Data backup, reg cleaner, what not.It is not sensible to use if it is permanently free. After 6 month, one will have multiple problems. No quality in Netgate things.Zero.But psychologically one thinks he has got a shareware for free.
Well I am curious how good it is, Cnet might be good source though I prefer testing any software by myself. With this product this is not possible
I have two machines that are running Windows 7 x64, on either of those I manage only to run an “update”, after that program minimizes to system tray. When I try to maximize/run it, whole thing disappears?!
Very annoying and frustrating, what I can see from task manager is, that program itself continues to run in memory but interface fails to appear?!?
p.s. I can run it on virtual machine (Win XP), but what’s the point of having such software?
I don’t think spy emergency is compatible with Windows 7 x64. The developer website states that it supports windows 7 x64, but unfortunately it did not work for me on 64-bit. I had the exact same problem when I installed it on Win 7 x64. However, it worked perfectly on Vista 32-bit.
Hopefully, they will come up with a new version that fixes this bug.
This is a extremely valuable website. I have several close friends who told me of it and these people had been able to remove many really horrible spyware from their pc. I have read most of your articles and have to say they are really good.
