my system config is intel core 2 duo 2.8
ram 2gb, graphics card nvidia 9500gt 512mb
in spite of all these da game is workng slowly even in the lowest graphics configuration. can someone plz help me as to how to solve this problem????
There is no way to solve this problem. 9500GT is a very low end graphics card. You need to upgrade you graphics card. Even 8600GTS performs better than 9500GT
You can still follow the steps mentioned in this post and see if it helps. Not sure though if it will work with the liberty city edition.

then also gta -eflc lags on my pc i dont know why ,,,…plz tell me the reason…it gives only 13-15 fps

GTA IV makers should make Gta in such a way that it should work Nice on a pc which has all its requirments………….and in every Gta Series always smthing is missing Like in GTA IV u cant Fly a Plane ,u cant go Underwater and it takes so much Hard drive space and ofers only a Big Small city…….i think Gta makers should learn From Just Cause ,,because they offer a Huge Map in Just 5gb………..and Gta should make like that………

upgrade to 1Gb of graphic cards as u like…..
dont try and think that your box will play this game
go and buy a xbox or ps3

Unfortunately, Radeon 5470 will not be able to run GTA IV. Ati Radeon 5470 is designed for low end laptops. They are not designed for gaming. If you are buying a laptop for gaming, make sure you have at least ATI Radeon HD 5770M
With tweaking the resolution and texture settings, I found that a dual core 2.0ghz, 2gigs of ram plus, and a 9500gt (1gb card) card will work fine for eflc. I can set settings to medium/large with 600X800 70hz. No lagging. Clip capture off. vehicle density on high.

hey problem i have an idea open the GTAIV and find setup.exe and right click then click compatibility and find what you are using thats all and it will run and install
