F-Secure has released a new version of their Internet Security Suite and are offering free 180 days subscription of their new pre release version. Since this is the preview (beta) version it is only recommended for personal use. The new internet security suite features a brand new interface, performance improvements and better parental control.

• Virus & Spy Protection with Virus protection, Anti-spyware, Email Scanning and Web Traffic Scanning for viruses, Blacklight scanning for hidden malware and the proactive 0-day protection technology DeepGuard™.
• Firewall, Application Control, Intrusion Prevention and Dial-up Control.
• E-mail filtering with protection against spam and phishing.
• Parental Control with protection for different user types against unwanted web content, including profiles for different types of web users.
• Automatic updates, enabling you to keep both the databases and the software up-to-date against the latest threats.
• Browsing Protection, helping you protect your personal information which you may sometimes have to enter on the Internet when, for example subscribing to newsletters, joining web communities or buying something online.

New features in F-Secure Internet Security Technology Preview (ISTP) include:

• Parental Control block pages.
  The Parental Control block pages have been updated with a new look.
• Parental Control added to Status page.
  There is now a line showing the status of Parental Control in the UI Status page, under Internet. It will only show when Parental Control is installed.
